The Ocicat is a rare breed of cat in Australia with limited dedicated breeders.

After a career as a Medical Scientist/Veterinary Scientist in Pathology for 35 years I am now a full time breeder and carer of the wonderful Ocicat.

My husband and I breed Ocicat kittens for pure enjoyment and not as a business. However, we will provide a professional service with detailed receipts, guarantees and post-adoption help and advice.

We have limited litters each year so that our family can enjoy each and every one of our Ocicat kittens until they are ready to join your family. We spend time playing and interacting with the kittens to ensure they are socialised and ready to become a treasured member of your family.

Our Ocicat kittens will grow into a wonderfully confident and affectionate natured cat who will settle into your family and will delight you for many years to come.

Brothers Gizmo and Gus at 3 months

When you adopt an ocicat kitten from Ocivalley Cattery you will receive:

  • Health Guarantee, read about the health guarantee here and temperament guaranteed for your peace of mind.

  • Kitten starter pack to help with the initial re-homing of your Ocicat kitten. Includes a blanket with Mum and sibling odours to help calm the kitten in its new environment, a pack of kitten food and a favourite toy. The kitten food will not be available if the kitten is sent interstate.

  • A booklet is provided via e-mail or print to assist with your new family arrival. This includes items on your ocicat kittens upbringing, including health, diet, playtime and integration with other family pets.

  • De-sexed with a certificate from the 'Cat Lovers Vet' for your records and for local council records.

  • Vaccinated twice with 'F3' at 8 weeks and at 11 weeks. The ocicat kittens will have developed a good immunity before the de-sexing procedure. All the vet work is done for you so that you can just enjoy your Ocicat kitten.

  • Veterinary Health Certificate from 'Cat Lovers Veterinary Surgery' in Frankston.

  • Microchipped and registered with an Australian-wide pet register. I will arrange for you to receive the microchip details directly through the mail once the chip has been implanted.

  • Parasite free; the ocicat kitten will be treated regularly from birth and directly before he leaves.

  • Litter trained

  • Bred from registered, pedigreed, 'Champion' parents chosen for health and temperament.
