Welcome to our
latest addition to Ocivalley Cattery
Introducing 'Bue
hin Digre'
'Bue' was imported into
Australia November 2011.
He will be a valuable
addition to our family as he brings in new blood lines. Bue has a
wonderful temperament and is a joy to us at Ocivalley.
Bue hin Digre (a Viking
name) was bred by Frank and Karin Mandix from Mandix Cattery, London,
UK.
His parents are DK*Jakobscat's
Cato and S*Vargagarden's Ylva Lorena. |

to be a big boy!
|
Just before Bue flew to
Australia, Frank Mandix, Bue and his Dad Cato were invited to attend
the Felis Britannica Winners Show held in Moulton, Northhampton, UK.
You have to qualify to be invited to this show.
Not only did Bue win his
kitten category and the best in colour and breed and the best in the
shorthair category.
At the grand
age of 6 months old, Bue hin Digre was declared Best of the Best in
Show at the annual Felis Britannica Winners Show.

I had the good fortune to
visit an International Cat Show in San Francisco, USA, with over 800 cats
present. This
picture shows the judge looking for special features from this
beautiful chocolate spotted ocicat. |
This is the activity centre.
The cats are enticed with wand feathers to jump over obstacles and run
through tunnels. The cats usually enjoy the fun activity very much but
if they are not interested at the time...then that's the end of it!
This is Sue Riley
'wrangling'
Kathy Gumm’s ocicat called Merritage.
The crowd, of course,
love it. |
